Toy Story 3 was a great ending to the Toy Story franchise, or so I thought at the time. I didn’t think Toy Story 4 was needed when announced at the D23 Expo. I was excited but also wondered if it would ruin the closure that came at the end of Toy Story 3 when Andy gives his toys to Bonnie. I am here to tell you I was wrong. Toy Story 4 was a fantastic film that answers the question about where Bo Peep was during Toy Story 3.

Annie Potts was back as Bo Peep, who has grown a lot since we’ve last seen her. Tony Hale was hilarious as Forky. Not only a source of comedy, but Forky also serves as an integral part of the film and Bonnie’s life. Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele were also hilarious as Ducky and Bunny. These guys are pure comedy, which you might have guessed watching some of the Toy Story 4 trailers. The rest of the Toy Story cast is excellent, as always.

Toy Story 4 is a film for the entire family. A lot of the humor resonated as much or more with adults than children as I heard the adults laughing through the whole movie. You’ll feel a wide range of emotions watching the film. I’m going to keep this spoiler-free, so there’s not too much more to say than that.

Bo Peep can be met now at Disney California Adventure at Disneyland Resort and Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort.
