WDW’s July 4th Entertainment and Fireworks has been published for this year. This post is an overview of the holiday entertainment with photos and videos.

Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky Fireworks

Celebrate America! - from Polynesian

First, Magic Kingdom celebrates Independence Day with Disney’s Celebrate America.  Celebrate America is a red, white, and blue fireworks spectacular high above and all around the park.  It will be on July 3rd and 4th at 9:15 pm.  Therefore, we suggest seeing this on July 3rd and heading to Epcot on July 4th.

Celebrate America! - from the TTC

Celebrate America is a fantastic fireworks display with shells fired from all around the park!! Therefore, we suggest viewing from either Main Street USA or outside the park around the Seven Seas Lagoon.  Both are excellent locations!!

Illuminations: Reflections of Earth with 4th of July Finale Fireworks

Illuminations 4th of July Finale

Next, Illuminations is at 9 pm on July 4th with a special patriotic finale packed with pyrotechnics.

The best place to watch the Illuminations 4th of July Finale is the Fastpass viewing area.  The fireworks behind the park are perfectly lined up with the American Adventure from this angle.  However, the show can be enjoyed from anywhere around World Showcase Lagoon.

Voices of Liberty Fourth of July Concert

American Adventure - 4th of July

Finally, The Voices of Liberty, the a cappella group that performs inside the American Adventure, put on a can’t miss concert of traditional American songs.  The show can be seen on the American Gardens Stage at 5:30, 6:45, and 8 pm.

Additionally, Disney Characters will meet and greet guests in patriotic attire outside of the American Adventure throughout the day. As you can tell, Magic Kingdom and Epcot are the parks be at on July 4.  Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will perform their regular nighttime shows.  Therefore, we suggest saving these shows for another night since there’s nothing special for the 4th of July.
